Supporting neurodivergent children shouldn’t feel overwhelming, complicated, or lonely, but for many families, that’s exactly what it becomes.
Kind of Extraordinary exists to change that.
This is a space for parents, carers, and professionals who want clarity, confidence, and compassion-led support rooted in lived experience and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
The services listed here are the main ways I support parents and families right now. However, I also offer bespoke professional development and consultancy for schools and organisations wanting to better understand and support neurodivergent children and young people, neurodivergent employees, and to develop more neuro-affirming language and inclusive, strengths-based practice within their settings. If this is something you’re exploring, I’d love to hear from you, please get in touch to start a conversation.
Who I Work With
You might be a parent or carer of a neurodivergent or twice-exceptional (2e) child, diagnosed or not, who feels like you're constantly trying to translate your child’s world for others. Maybe you’re beginning to recognise your own neurodivergence and everything suddenly makes more sense… and less sense… all at the same time.
You want the best for your child (of course you do), but you’re:
Unsure how to interpret big feelings, hard days, or “behaviours” in a way that aligns with your values
Feeling defeated or dismissed by school systems and professionals
Lost in paperwork, EHCP processes, or meetings where you’re expected to “stay calm” while advocating fiercely
Carrying guilt - for shouting, for not knowing, for feeling overwhelmed, for all of it
Wishing someone would just explain what’s happening and tell you what will actually help
Wondering whether you’re doing enough (you are)
You're seeking clarity, direction, reassurance, and strategies that honour your child - not fix them.
You want support that sees your child as a person, not a problem.
That’s exactly what I offer.
-
Parents who are unsure what support they want or need (or if they want support from me) feel stuck or overwhelmed by one specific issue. This may be a school situation, a sensory challenge, or a tough behaviour day but ultimately, they just need quick, actionable support.
-
You’ll come away from this 30-minute call with clarity, confidence, and concrete next steps. No spiralling on Google, no waiting weeks for answers or an appointment, just focused, neurodiversity-affirming support when they need it.
-
A calm, reassuring check-in with someone who gets it. It’s like having a knowledgeable, non-judgemental friend help you zoom out and see what really matters — then hand you the tools to move forward.

For quick, focused guidance on a specific issue (e.g. school meeting, sensory needs). 30 minute consultation. Follow-up email with key takeaways and resource links.

Parent Consultation
In-depth, personalised advice for complex concerns (e.g. regulation, advocacy, behaviour). 60 minute session. Summary email with notes, resources, and actions.
Price: £100
-
Parents who are navigating more complex challenges and want in-depth, tailored advice. Perfect if you're feeling unsure how to support your child with regulation, understand their needs, or advocate for them.
-
This session is about building a clear plan together. This plan will be specific, actionable, practical, realistic, and rooted in the family’s strengths. Hopefully parents leave feeling empowered, better informed, and less alone in the process.
-
An extended, collaborative conversation grounded in genuine care and understanding. I’ll help them untangle what's going on and piece together strategies that actually support them and their child.
-
Parents who want steady, ongoing support over a school term or extended period. Ideal for families navigating longer-term challenges or transitions and want more than a one-off session.
-
You’ll have monthly calls acting as regular check-ins, and priority access to resources. It’s structured support that helps you stay grounded through the ups and downs, assess what’s working and what’s not and help you feel someone walking alongside you the whole way.
-
Consistent, connected, and validating. Like having a coach and collaborator you trust to hold space, help plan, and remind them of their progress. Voxer support will be provided for one week per month.
Quarterly Parent Support
Ongoing, steady support for parents through the school term. 3 x 60-minute sessions. Monthly Voxer support. Access to future live workshops + resource library.
Price: £500 per quarter
Advocacy Prep Pack
For families preparing for school or SEND meetings or navigating paperwork. 90-minute session. Pre-call document review (up to 10 pages). Customised email templates/scripts. Optional add-on: additional document review
Price: £500
-
Parents preparing for school meetings, EHCP reviews, or navigating complex paperwork and who want to feel informed, prepared, and not left guessing.
-
I’ll review your documents, meet for a strategy session, highlight key legislation and craft scripts/templates to help them advocate clearly and calmly. You’ll enter that meeting knowing what to say, what to ask for, and how to hold your ground.
-
Supportive and strategic. you’ll feel like someone has your back and you’re not walking into the room alone because they’re not.
Voxer Support
Flexible, voice note–based support to guide families through challenging weeks or prep. 1 or 2 weeks of weekday support. Daily access within set hours.
Price: £200–£375
-
Parents who don’t need regular long-term consultations or may struggle with face-to-face but want space to talk through challenges in real time especially in between meetings, transitions, or those weeks when everything feels a bit much.
-
You’ll have consistent, low-pressure access to support throughout the week, sending voice notes when they’re ready and getting thoughtful responses without needing to carve out call time.
-
Flexible and human. Like having a coach in their pocket someone to check in with, bounce ideas off, or help them stay regulated when things get wobbly by having a safe place to talk things through.
FAQs
-
Not at all. Many families I work with are still exploring what they feel ‘fits’ for their child and that’s absolutely valid. Whether your child has a diagnosis, is awaiting assessment, or you simply need support, you’re welcome here.
-
A Clarity Call is a focused 30-minute session designed to give you quick guidance on a specific issue (like a school meeting or sensory need) or an opportunity to work out what support you might want from me. A Parent Consultation is a longer, in-depth session where we can dig deeper into patterns, challenges, and strategies and create a more structured plan together.
-
No, although my work is informed by therapeutic frameworks like AutPlay. I do not offer therapy or clinical intervention. I provide parent-focused support, strategy, and education in a way that is neurodiversity-affirming, practical, and relational.
-
Yes. I support parents of children from toddlerhood to late teens. My approach is always tailored to your child’s developmental stage and needs. Neurodivergence doesn’t follow one timeline, and neither does support.
-
While I don't currently offer direct meeting attendance, I do offer advocacy prep sessions to help you feel confident and prepared for those conversations including document review, email templates, and scripts you can adapt for your meeting.
-
Yes, I can work with families internationally particularly through coaching-style services such as consultations and Voxer support. However, educational systems vary by country, so school-related support will always be UK-based unless otherwise discussed.
-
Yes! If you're unsure which service is the best fit, you’re welcome to send me a message through the contact form or email. You could also book a Clarity Call and I’ll guide you towards the option that meets your current needs with no pressure.
-
Voxer is a voice note and text messaging app, kind of like having me in your back pocket for a week or two! You can send questions, thoughts, or updates throughout the day, and I’ll reply within agreed hours. It’s a great option if you want support in real time without needing to schedule a call.
-
Absolutely. I work with families of autistic children, ADHDers, PDA profiles, sensory seekers/avoiders, and twice-exceptional (2e) children. Every child is unique and the support I offer reflects that.
-
I offer lower-cost entry points like Clarity Calls and plan to expand accessible resources such as downloadable tools and workshops. I also share free, supportive content over on Instagram and TikTok to help families feel less alone and more equipped.
